    You can plan ahead and register your  child(ren) for the summer school now.  The school starts on Monday, June 24 and  ends on Thursday, August 22. Children ages 5 to 13 may enroll. School hours are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Qur’an, Hadith/Islamic Studies, Arabic and Sirah will be taught.


     

    Registration forms may be obtained from IONA Center and submitted to the Principal, Sr. Souad Soubra, who is available on Sundays between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM at the IONA Center.     As the long summer vacation approaches, parents ponder the various activities for their school-age children.  The Islamic Summer School is entrusted by the community as an annual program that aims at making a beneficial use of five to six weeks of the summer vacation for children and youth. 

    The envisioned mission of the program aims at promoting a strong sense of Islamic identity, teaching proper behavior, enrichment of religious knowledge, exposure to Islamic heritage, and development of interpersonal communication among children.

    Summer School Tuitions:

    The tuition per child is $325 per summer, The tuition for two siblings is $550 and $825 for three siblings. The non-refundable registration fee is $50. Books will be supplied to students at no cost, to be returned by the end of Summer School. REGISTER NOW, limited space available.

Compassion is a trait inherent in man and is granted to him by his creator, the most compassionate, the most merciful God.
The word compassion in Arabic is Rahmah. It is one of God's attributes used repeatedly in the Qur'an, the Muslim's Holy Scripture.
