 Offering food to fasting people in Ramadan has its own merits and virtues. The Prophet (SAW) said, “Whoever feeds a fasting person will have a reward like that of the fasting person’s reward.” IONA, in sha Allah, will once again be hosting weekend Iftar dinners free of charge to the community. The first Iftar dinner will be on Saturday, July 21, and on Fridays and Saturdays of every week thereafter. The last dinner will be on Friday, August 17 (Ramadan 29) in sha Allah.
