Detroit Area All Faiths Festival 2008 (March 28, 2008)

Detroit MI, March 28, 2008 – The Festival Will commence at 2:30PM on Sunday, May 4, 2008, at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church Located At 18342 Utica Road, Roseville, MI48066.
The All Faith Festival is an Interfaith Event with the goal being to build bridges, create dialogue, foster recognition and respect, and support families and people in crisis among all Faith Traditions in the metropolitan Detroit area. Mrs. Edna Jackson of Focus: Hope has been invited to share her vast experience in service to persons in crisis because of economic conditions in a community. With Fr. Lawrence M. Ventline, a Roman Catholic Priest, Imam Mustapha Elturk of Islamic Organization Of North America, Rabbi Mordehi Waldman of Mount Clemens, and Rev. David Kasbow of American Clergy Leadership in Warren, MI, and the Family Federation of World Peace and Unification will collaborate in support of the community, seating a panel which will address their particular Faith Tradition and its position and views on the needs of the people in the community who are in crisis.
Rev. David Kasbow, of American Clergy Leadership In Warren, and an organizer of this event, said “It is a part of the mission of the Faith Community to help those in need, this All Faith Festival is a manifestation of this.”
The breakout sessions which follow the panel will present some of the practical remedies that are presently available that can address;
“Even nominal success in this bold joint venture will surely revitalize our community, and establish a permanent collaboration and respect necessary for the survival of us all.”

The organizers hope to inspire and encourage those in attendance with a music ministry which will include Fr. William McGoldrick, folk singer David Reske, and other Artists not yet confirmed. All are welcome to this free event that will accept freewill offerings, however, to help cover expenses.
The Organizers Of This Event Are From The Roman Catholic, Protestant, Islamic, And Jewish Faith Traditions. Fr. Lawrence M. Ventline, a Roman Catholic Priest and former Chaplain of Care of The Soul, Imam Mustapha Elturk of Islamic Organization of North America, Rev. David Kasbow of American Clergy Leadership in Warren, MI, and Pastor of a congregation of Family Federation of World Peace and Unification, and Rabbi Mordehi Waldman of Mount Clemens, MI, all collaborate to serve some very grave community needs.
